A.C.E. Awards How To Enter
Submission Requirements:
- Any genre of dance will be accepted for consideration: including but not limited to - jazz, ballet, musical theater, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, modern or a fusion between styles.
- Choreographers must be 18 years or older. All participating dancers must be at least 16 years old.
- The piece must be between 2 to 4 minutes in length. No choreography reels please.
- Submitting choreographers may be professionals, aspiring professionals, or a combination. Choreographers may choose to dance in their piece. Please feature a minimum of 5 dancers in the piece.
- Entries must be submitted by the choreographer themselves. We will not accept submissions by third parties on behalf of the choreographer.
- A $50 fee is required when uploading your video for consideration.
- All submissions must be received by May 15, 2026.
IF SELECTED AS A FINALIST:
- Finalists are allowed to compete with a different piece than the one they submitted.
- Props are permitted, but no "sets" are allowed. Finalists must seek approval for any props from Danceone/Dance Teacher Summit staff.
- Finalists must be present at The DanceOne Summit and ready to compete with their group in New York City, August 16th, 2026.
- All finalists and their dancers are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodations. Discounted rooms within the The DanceOne Summit block are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Choreographers and dancers participating in the A.C.E. Awards will be receive complimentary access to all classes and events at The DanceOne Summit.
- A panel from the dance industry and DanceOne representatives will carefully select and reach out to 15 finalists. These finalists will be invited to showcase their talent at the The DanceOne Summit in New York City. Notifications will be sent via email by June 15, 2026.
