Can I register at the door?

We highly suggest that you register in advance so we can be sure to have the necessary items for you to attend the event.

Do we have to preregister for any classes?

You do not have to pre-register for any classes in the regular schedule, but if you would like to take Business Boost or L.E.A.D. you will need to preregister.

I am not getting to the Summit until late afternoon, will I still be able to check-in?

Yes! We will open registration at 11 AM on August 13th and keep registration open for the remainder of the event.

Where do I fly into?

You can fly into LaGuardia (LGA) (40 minutes), John F. Kennedy (JFK) (60 minutes), or Newark (EWR) (40 minutes). All airports are an hour or less to the New York Hilton Midtown.

Once in town, do I need a car to get around?

No! There are plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance of the Summit as well as various public transportation options to easily get around the city.

How do I apply my Danceone Loyalty reward points to attend?

POLICIES, REFUNDS, AND COSTS

What if I need to cancel?

All deposits are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend and you’ve already paid your balance, we will issue a credit voucher for the balance, good towards your DanceOne Summit registration fees for 1-year.

Can I get a receipt for reimbursement purposes?

Yes, receipts are available within the Dance360 account that you used to register for the event. If you need assistance email [email protected].

Is there a one-day or ‘a la carte’ option?

At this time, no. In-person attendee registration is only sold for the full 3-day event. You can however, get a free Expo Hall Pass, which entitles you to walk the Expo Hall floor any or all three days.

I have a teacher who isn’t able to make it, can I swap him/her out for another teacher?

Yes, of course! Please add the new teacher to your Dance360 account and email [email protected] so we can remove your teacher who is no longer coming.

Can my assistant teacher come?

If they are older than 16, we would love to have them! There is no “assistant teacher” rate, they must pay full price as they have access to everything. At this time, we do not allow anyone under 16.

Is there an age limit? What is your policy on infants/young children?

Teachers only please. Attendees must be at least 16 years old. Young children/infants are NOT allowed in the classes. Infants can accompany parents to the Expo Hall and nightly events. Everyone needs a pass or ticket.

Can’t attend the whole Summit?

We have a few options! First, come shop and meet the top dance vendors in the nation. Get a FREE Goody Bag with each Expo Hall Pass! The Expo Hall will feature free giveaways, seminars, and panel discussions throughout the 3-day event!

Purchase the virtual attendee pass which will be good for up to 6-months after the event.

What's included in the 3-Day Pass?

What does the virtual video access include?

The online video access includes most movement, workshops, and business seminars. The online videos are available for 6-months after the event for an additional charge. See fees section for details.

SUMMIT SCHEDULE & CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

When will a schedule of classes be available?

We will list what classes will be offered 5-7 days before the start of the event. Due to the nature of hiring working artists, the schedule is not complete until right before the event. Keep checking the app for schedule changes.

What is Business Boost?

Business Boost is a special session specifically designed for Studio Owners and Office Managers. Join us as we give you the tools to boost your business! Snacks and beverages are included in the $195 fee for this session. You must be registered as a Full Attendee to include this optional add-on.

What is L.E.A.D.?

Join L.E.A.D. (Leadership Education, Artistry, and Development) as we explore principles, theories, and developmental studies for your curriculum and approach in the classroom. Learn new techniques that can relate to all levels and styles from private dance studios to K-12 public schools. There is an additional fee of $195. You must be registered as a Full Attendee to include this optional add-on.
